What To Expect

Each tour includes a 1-hour video presentation of the birth center and staff, followed by a midwife answering all of your questions. We know you are excited and have many questions, and we’ll make sure all of your questions about Dar a Luz are answered during the tour or soon after. We usually offer two tours every month. At this time, all tours are online.

You must register and attend a tour, and then be accepted for care by a midwife, before you can make your first prenatal appointment at the birth center. You may attend a tour before or during your pregnancy. If you are over 28 weeks pregnant, please get a copy of your records for the midwives to review.

Please note: Dar a Luz can take 20 due dates per calendar month, and then we begin a waitlist. Please attend a tour as soon as possible to learn about any months that currently have a waitlist. Even in busy months, spots do sometimes open up, and we will call you as soon as we have availability after you have been accepted for care.
